IT SUPPORT Sunderland Competitive salary Benefits Our client is a global leading manufacturer of manipulated hydraulic rigid tube assemblies and industrial fluid handling systems. They are looking to recruit at IT Support Analyst to join their team in Sunderland. This role is a combination of extraction and analysis of data and provision management information to stakeholders, and of a general desk top technical support on site. If you are an enthusiastic professional with experience and qualifications in technical support of ICT infrastructure, then they may have a position for you. About the Technical Support Analyst Role: Core work will include the extraction of data from new and existing data sources in order to create user friendly data outputs so that stakeholders can readily access succinct and accurate data to meet their objectives and reporting / operational deadlines. Correct bugs and issues that occur in our data analytics and data preparation tools to maintain self-service MI and Analysis to stakeholders. Other responsibilities will include: Write and execute SQL database queries to deliver requests for reports, data or analysis Co-ordinate, develop and update technical documentation and procedures Configuration and installation of desktop systems and software Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice About You: You will have a numerical or computing degree with proven experience of working within a similar role and expert knowledge of manipulate data, via software packages such as Access and SQL. Other skills and attributes required: You will be a logical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills Ability to challenge the status quo to look at better ways of reporting to their stakeholders and bring process improvement Experience creating dashboards in data analytics tools Proficient in VBA and macros Proficient with charting and pivot tables. Have effective communication skills with the ability to make technical concepts both accessible and interesting to non-technical people Very Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel Ability to prioritise workload and manage stakeholder expectations Deliver a high level of Customer Service If you are an SAP superuser, then even better.
