Overview

A well established consultancy practice that offer bespoke compliance support to IFA firms throughout the UK has an excellent opportunity for an individual to service their clients in the South Essex area, This business is constantly growing, with a client bank grown exclusively from referrals and recommendations. As such, they now need a full time Consultant to cover the area. You will work based from home but will be visiting clients on a daily basis. The position will involve file checking, answering client compliance queries, reviewing and updating in house procedures, training advisers, reviewing CPD activity, collating management information and annual audits. You will visit clients Monday - Thursday and you will only travel to one client on any given day, You will visit clients at their offices generally from Monday - Thursday 9/9.30 to 4/4.30pm. Existing Consultants see their clients at varied times throughout the year, anything from an annual basis, monthly basis and a few 3 or 4 times a month. You would never be required to recruit your own clients, this is not a sales position and there are no targets. The successful candidate will be an experienced Compliance Consultant who is currently or who has previously worked within the IFA arena. You will have experience of reviewing files and giving feedback to either the principal of the firm or the adviser’s themselves. You will be at diploma level or at least very close and you will be located in or around Southend/Basildon due to the location of the clients you would immediately inherit.
