Overview
Excellent opportunity for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join a renowned & established tech business near Oxford who are partnered with some of the biggest IT companies in the world. The business work with companies predominantly in the finance/fintech & telco sectors to modernise their IT processes & provide consultancy around IT transformation/solution design. You will be working closely with the product design/projects teams to help formulate new solutions and deign cloud-based solutions. This role will be heavily based around containerisation - you will be provided with in-depth training materials but you will need to have had some experience with Docker/Kubernetes to be considered for this position. Key skills/ideal background: Experience in IT Support & troubleshooting 6 months' experience in a DevOps/containerisation-focused role Docker/Kubernetes experience Windows & Linux OS It will be beneficial to have some of the following: Experience working with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) Monitoring experience (Nagios or similar) Scripting knowledge (Bash, Perl, PowerShell etc.) Python, Go, Java programming knowledge Degree-educated in a related discipline Starting salary up to £35K - If you are interested in this position please apply ASAP.
