Digital Engineer (Platform Control) West London 18 Weeks 190 p/day The Company Would you like to join one Europe's most popular broadcasting and media brands? Description Video on demand assets need to be published to a content distribution network on time in order for them to be available for customers to download, so timely publishing needs to be confirmed for the assets as well as processing checks on behalf of third party VoD providers. Daily health/availability checks in a number of areas from DTH, OTT and VoD need to be carried out to assist in early identification of issues so that support teams can be notified at the earliest opportunity. We would also expect you to: Using various tools to identify VoD asset publishing issues Working closely with Platform Control colleagues. Communication with the company and 3rd party stakeholders Escalation of issues to support teams Daily system health checks and escalation Key skills Interest in broadcasting technologies Experience in using TV products Technologies / Skills Sought: Basic IT skills Experience with Microsoft Office Suite If you believe you'd be suited please submit your CV in the first instance.
