A prestigious US Law Firm based in stunning offices in the heart of the City is looking to hire a new Global IT Service Desk Analyst to join the London office on a permanent basis working the days Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday working the hours 06:00 to 14:00 (35 hours per week).This role will be part of a team that provides premium 24 hours a day, 7 days a week call centre and email support to all staff in regards to technology-related issues and requests and will involve receiving the majority of incoming IT requests for assistance via telephone and email. Responsibilities will include tracking customer calls and recording detailed and accurate information in the Service Desk issue tracking system, monitoring tickets entered into the Service Desk issue tracking system; following up with the referral technician and contacting user after resolution for quality control purposes, investigate and compare data from different resources and take a proactive approach to quick resolution of issues while keeping the manager abreast of situation. The candidate must be able to interact with individuals in all levels of the firm’s business, they must be able to work well with other technical teams to provide troubleshooting steps to aid in resolution of desktop computing issues. Candidates must have strong written and communication skills, a minimum of 5 years IT experience, preferably within a law firm, in addition to having strong decision making skills, based upon mixture of seeking input from others, analysing input & using sound judgment, the ability to work well with others in a team environment, share responsibilities and offer assistance to others during slow periods, being proficient in Remote Computing and Citrix experience, excellent PC troubleshooting skills and extensive experience with iOS setup and troubleshooting.
