Overview
Senior - Principal Embedded Software Engineer - Cambs, to £ 65K excellent benefits. This position is a genuine opportunity for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a highly capable, multi-disciplined team who work on innovative (imaging, haptics, instrumentation), well funded, cutting edge Electronics Systems projects as part of a world leading multi-disciplined Team. The systems are complex and the work is challenging, but the rewards and satisfaction, as you solve the problems, are equally as high. I am looking for significant embedded development experience using C or C++ , coupled with hands-on RTOS (VxWorks, RTLinux, OSE) experience and, ideally, some experience of hardware interfacing and driver development (PCI Express, Ethernet, SDLC etc). A fantastic development environment, working within the R & D centre of a successful, growing Electronics company , set on a technology park, close to shops, sports facilities etc, working on collaborative projects with capable staff from across the world.
