Overview
Our client are a UK leading retailer, after a good year last year they are looking at developing their integration team within their integration department. Reporting directly into the Head Of Engineering the right candidate will have the following key responsiblities:- Leading a team of developers and integration experts to deliver a set of requirements set by the product owners and key stakeholders Managing a delivery team to ensure the successful delivery with new and existing platforms; using integration and API framework. Supports the definition & detailed solution architecture of the integration Ensures proper execution and facilitation of product delivery methodologies and practices helping the team speed up their development. Provide timely and accurate visibility of status, progress against product backlogs, managing progress impediments Facilitates the creation of release plans and supports the Product Owner in their requirement prioritisation process Lead the team in best practice delivery frameworks suitable for the business needs Engineering Lead on the integration solution; taking key development tickets and building out the solution The ideal candidate will ideally have the following experience:- 5 years experience as a middleware developer Proficient with the use of cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Google GCP, or Microsoft Azure. Proficient with Linux/UNIX and open source tool chains Good knowledge working with JSON, XML, SOAP, WSDL, Swagger/OAS, RAML This role comes with a whole range of benefits including a generous salary range and good company perks entitled to all employees, including 1 days remote work.
