Sector: Automotive Positions: x1 Job Status: Permanent Salary: £28k pa bonuses (OTE £35k) Hours: Shifts / Variable Our client is the market leader within the tyre fitting industry and due to continued business growth they are now looking to recruit a Team Manager to provide leadership and management to a team of Route Planners / Despatchers on a daily basis. Providing pro-active daily support, motivation and guidance to ensure that the highest standards of customer service is delivered at all tmes. Achieving KPI's and exceeding targets. This role will be office based within the companies National Despatch / Control Centre managing circa 12-15 despatchers / route planners. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Accept overall responsibility for individual / team performance Carry out daily checks to ensure that all members of the team are providing effective planning of workload schedules to technicians. Investigate and reply to all customer compliants and to ensure all customer SLA's are achieved Management of all 3rd party purchasing within the team Ensure team compliance of Stock management process and procedures Skills, Experience and Behaviours: Has a proven track record of managing teams and KPI's (min 3 years experience) Takes responsibility for tasks / workloads and sees it through Someone who has the ability to remain calm and focussed when working in a fast-paced, fast turn work environment Exceptional customer service skills Self motivated - who will initiate self-development activities Resilient - remains positive when faced with obstacles Sociable and build rapport easily Computer literate and proficient in MS software Preferably has some previous experience / knowledge of working within the tyre, logistics or FMCG industries. Organises and plans effectively Working hours: Business operational hours are 08.30 - 20.30 Mon-Sun Flexibility to working shifts e.g. Initially Mon-Fri Sat AM but then moving on to a 4 days on / 4 days off 08.30-20.30 shift pattern with your colleague.
