Overview
Accounts Payable Supervisor / Purchase Ledger Team Leader for small team in Warrington. Nice business / team. May suit someone experienced ready to step up into first supervisor role. About the employer You'll be joining an established business with a strong finance team which will give you lots of opportunities to develop your skillset. About the job You will be joining a professional finance team supervising a small accounts payable team. You will be working in a fast paced environment but provided with all the tools, support and training to do a great job. Main duties will include: Supervising the purchase ledger / accounts payable function Preparing payment runs Statement reconciliations Staff expenses and petty cash Prepare payment runs Code invoices according to internal nominal structure Reconciling ledger Dealing with queries in a professional and efficient manner Build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers About the ideal candidate To be successful in this role you will have solid high purchase ledger experience. You'll also be hard working, proactive and a strategic thinker. You will be flexible and adaptable to take on new responsibilities and challenges. You'll lead by example and be a good mentor to members of the team. Requirements Extensive Purchase Ledger Experience Some supervisory / coaching / mentoring experience (maybe training up new starters) Good Excel skills Flexible and adaptable Team Player Salary Range & Benefits The salary is competitive paying £22,000 to £23,000 Application Process Click the apply button and your CV will come straight through for review.
