Overview
You’ll be joining a dynamic, fast-growing and exciting software company who specialise in developing administration systems for the pensions and benefits industry. Due to their vast expansion, they are looking to recruit a client facing Project Manager to work in the Client Services team. You’ll be primarily responsible for the implementation of their bespoke system for new clients. Typically, this takes between 6 to 18 months to complete and you will be expected to remain on the project from initiation to system "go live". During the project, you will be responsible for managing a small team of software implementers and developers and attend regular face-face project steering meetings. You’ll develop a plan in Microsoft Project and maintain it throughout ensuring an issues/risks are logged. Ultimately, ensuring the work carried out by the project team is completed on schedule, within budget and to a high standard Your background in Financial Services (ideally Pensions) would set you apart for this varied role. It’s a "hands on" position and considered more than a purely project management role due to the extent of client facing it requires. You should be highly organised, have strong communication (across all levels) and be able to motivate both yourself and your team. At least some pensions, payroll or other financial services knowledge is essential Experience in the following areas would be beneficial: Agile Scrum PRINCE2 Microsoft SQL Server Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
