Job Description
Project Director Bristol A nuclear client is looking for a Project Director to oversee a scope of work on Hinkley Point C (HPC). The Project Director will oversee the electrical design package of work on HPC and provide representation to the parent organisation. The role will include travel to France and other suppliers throughout the UK. The electrical design package is valued at circa €40m and will take 5 years to deliver. The scope of work includes cable trays, cubicles, small turnkey packages and modules. The Project Director will be responsible for managing technical risk on the project The Director will oversee the key milestone management, and also manage the customer relationship. The Director will oversee all legal, technical and project delivery objectives, and ensure they are completed on time and to expectation. You will be responsible for providing monthly reviews and other relevant feedback to the parent organisation. You will provide formal quarterly reports on commercial, technical and legal progress, and present this information to customers. Skills and Experience Experienced Engineer with a proven NEC project management background Degree, either in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Nuclear experience is desirable, but otherwise large EPC project delivery is sufficient. PDMS design experience desirable NEC3 contract experience essential. Strong stakeholder management, customer liaison and communication skills Excellent attention to detail, prior experience managing technical and commercial issues at a senior level.
