Outline: Our large house is within walking distance of the centre of Chester and has a fantastic family atmosphere where we all enjoy games, art & crafts, karaoke and film nights. You'll also be supporting people to attend community day service, helping source and take part in community activities so the people we support keep busy. This could include events such as swimming, walking, going on holiday, eating out, going to the pub or to the theatre or cinema and much more. You'll be supporting with personal care, helping them manage their finances, support to attend all health appointments and making sure they're eating healthily as well as some personal shopping too. You'll take your turn working shifts on a 24/7 rota, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins. You'll be working as part of a team with occasional lone working. What we need from you Firstly, you don’t need experience to become a Support Worker but it’s not easy. The work can be demanding and challenging at times but no 2 days are the same and the reward of seeing YOUR personal impact is incredibly inspiring. As long as you have the passion and drive to want to make a real difference, we’ll teach you the rest. With your key attributes and our training, together we can deliver the best possible support. It is essential for this role that you hold a full manual driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK, as you will be driving service vehicles.
