Overview
Our client is a leading global construction and engineering company with unmatched experience in infrastructure, bridge, highway, tunnel, dam and marine projects are currently recruiting a Site Agent Fit Out within their team in Central London. Winner of the Constructing Excellence Integration and Collaborative Working Award, the project is currently seeking a Fit Out Site Agent The project is just moving into fit out stage and you will be part of the fit out team. Anyone who’s been doing fit out on Crossrail or similar would be ideal. Purpose of Job: Overseeing the project to ensure the works are constructed in a safe manner and meet the specified requirements in terms of cost, quality and timescale. Reporting all construction issues to the Project Manager Overseeing the work performed by the construction workers and their immediate supervisors. Ensuring that the various elements of the construction programme are completed on programme. Assisting the co-ordination between site subcontractors, highlighting areas of clash or potential time/cost saving. Providing engineering updates in the Weekly Work Plan meeting Ensuring timely collation of handover documentation in line with LUL and Stakeholder requirements. Review of subcontractor programmes and co-ordination of works into the 3-week lookahead. Review of planned vs. actual production rates, liaise with the Agent to assist in mitigation of delays or cost increase, seek continuous improvement/savings. Comply with requirements outlined in the companies environmental management plan. Able to work days, weekends or nights as required by the works. Experience: You have worked as a Site Agent on large construction projects (£100m) fit-out essential BSc, MSc, or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND Valid CSCS card Major project experience £100m Main contractor experience Temporary Works advantageous Computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook SMSTS/SSSTS Benefits (permanent employees) Private Health Care Qualification upskill funding 25% shift uplift Travel Allowance Lunch allowance Private Health Care
