Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk looking for your next Temporary Assignment? We have an opportunity to work within a fuel storage and pipeline operations Client with assets across the UK on an ongoing basis. Position: Purchase Ledger Clerk Salary: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour Job Type: Temporary Duration: Ongoing Location: London The Role; Checking invoices and expenses for legitimacy, e.g. purchase order, according to expenses policy Processing invoices and expenses accurately Ensuring suppliers are paid on time Dealing with supplier queries Receiving supplier invoices via spreadsheet Providing out of office cover holiday cover Process invoices and expenses accurately to the invoice register Being able to use and create spreadsheets and pivot table from raw data Ensuring managers approve their invoices - sending out reminders daily Producing suggested payments list, crystal report and BACS file for the weekly payment run Reconciling company credit cards and P-cards onto the nominal ledger. Ad Hoc duties - providing assistance to members of the team if required - gathering information from invoices/purchases orders. Payment run - preparing the BACS file for the payment run Requirements: Excellent Microsoft office skills Experienced within using and creating Pivot Tables Experienced in preparing Bacs files.
