COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR - NEWCASTLE - 5 PQE THE FIRM - UK Top 50 National Law firm - An award winning Top Legal Employer - Highly ranked throughout Chambers UK, in particular across Real Estate disciplines THE ROLE - The Newcastle office of this national Real Estate department is looking for an experienced Solicitor to join its ranks - The team works with a wide and varied range of clients, from both the private and public sectors - You will be involved in the full remit of real estate work to include drafting heads of terms, development agreements, construction, planning and site disposal, funding arrangements, freehold transfer, due diligence procedures and lease renewals. - You will be handling your own caseload of impressive Real Estate matters to include investment work, development and infrastructure work - You will have the opportunity to be involved in some high scale projects, from £100m city centre regenerations, to smaller bespoke matters on behalf of SME's and entrepreneurs THE REQUIREMENTS - The ideal candidate will be an experienced Real Estate Solicitor, with a minimum of 5 years PQE - You will have trained within a regional, national or international law firm - Prior experience of running and assisting on a busy and varied real estate caseload is important - You will have excellent team and interpersonal skills, as well as good client management skills - An interest in business development and marketing would also be benficial THE BENEFITS - Competitive salary and benefits package - Flexible working BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
