Overview

Sellick Partnership is currently assisting a large public sector organisation in the Home Counties with the recruitment of a Legal Practice Business Manager to join them on a permanent basis due to the previous person retiring. This is a niche and exciting role to join a large organisation which is currently looking at expanding their business function with taking on more work from other public sector bodies as it develops and grows as a business function. The post will require you to undertake a review of the current practice management team with streamlining their work flow and processes, mapping out current functions within the team and looking at implementing new functions to coincide with the growing business function as it progresses. A large part of this will be to set up a system for accounting and processing invoices for work which has been completed for other organisations. There will also be a number of projects such as updating and refreshing the Lexcel manual, assist with procuring and implementing a new legal case management system to name a few. You will be joining a team which is welcoming to change and fully on board to assist. This role is diverse and the client is happy to consider candidates on either a part time basis 4 days a week or a full time basis. Ideally you will have previous experience within practice management or business manager function, either from a legal or finance background in either a private or public sector setting.
