Overview
A Chambers listed Legal 500 firm based in Reading is seeking a 2 years’ PQE corporate solicitor. The firm advises on major corporate transactions involving multiple legal jurisdictions, as well as one-off deals within the UK. The highly regarded Corporate Team provides advice on and deals with the following legal matters: Acquisitions and disposals Management buy-outs and management buy-ins Restructuring joint ventures private equity shareholders’ and investment agreements Corporate governance Company formation and management Share incentive schemes The ideal candidate must be able to manage their own caseload and demonstrate the ability to work well with other fee earners from the commercial property, tax, employment and intellectual property departments. You might also have some insolvency related experience, however, this is not essential. With a confident approach to legal advice, the ideal candidate will already be working with or qualified from a recognised firm, along with having an excellent academic record and be a good communicator.
