Overview
Legal Counsel, Finance – International Hedge Fund Our client, an international hedge fund, is looking for a junior transactional lawyer to join its Legal and Compliance team in London. A successful candidate will be part of a small team responsible for supporting investment transactions and related matters. Responsibilities Assisting with transactions, primarily for various credit-focused investment strategies Working closely with the relevant investment professionals and the firm’s finance, tax, compliance, and operations functions. Drafting, negotiating, and analysing acquisition and financing agreements relating to loan and other asset portfolios Advising on debt restructuring transactions. Assisting with other legal and regulatory matters that arise in connection with investment activities in Europe. Skills and Qualifications 1-4 years’ PQE Familiarity with credit-related investment transactions and/or the investment management industry is beneficial but is not required
