HEAD OF ENGINEERING LONDON £60,000-£80,000 SQL, DATA WAREHOUSING, DATA INTEGRATION Does joining the leading information provider as the Head of data engineering, appeal to you? By providing key information to target audiences through news, data, events and community websites. They're rapidly expanding the data journey, both within the company and within their products and services. If you're ready to get stuck in by delivering data related products and solutions, then this is the role for you. THE COMPANY With over two hundred people working globally, this role is with a leading independent business information company within the financial service markets. Providing quality business information to industries including hedge funds, real estate, insurance and online gaming.They're growing rapidly with over two thousand clients globally. THE ROLE Working closely with the CTO and CIO you can expect to manage the data engineering road-map. Specifically, you can expect to: Work with stakeholders in multiple different business areas to services their data requirements Lead a medium sized team to deliver multiple data related projects including Automation, Data Warehousing, ETL Projects and setting up database, tables and views. Work on the integration of apps and services Drive the data strategy of the organisation, delivering new ideas and solutions to remain cutting-edge YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience: Work in a delivery focused environment, with the capability to translate business requirements into technical stories that will be managed following. An understanding of systems and tools such as; Alteryx, Redshift and CRM Systems Excellent communication skills with strong analytical skills. Experience managing teams SALARY AND BENEFITS The successful candidate, depending on experience, will receive a salary of up to £80,000.
