They are looking for a resilient, fast-learning and strong negotiator, keen to take on a new challenge, with an aim to oversee and bring in improvements to the client and stakeholder contracts. As a FM Strategic Sourcing Category Manager you will: Further develop your key negotiation skills, gaining the opportunity to collaborate with the executive stakeholders and some of the most significant clients on the market Develop and implement FM procurement strategy across subcategories including but not limited to: Cleaning Services, PPE, Security, and Catering (Hard and Soft FM Procurement) Lead the procurement market research, analysing and finding key optimisations for the business contracts Run the strategic sourcing team, implementing your unique ideas and leaving your own personal stamp on the procurement function FM Procurement Strategic Sourcing Manager Required Background: Analytical mindset, having conducted numerous market research projects A confident negotiator, willing to stand their ground and back up their decision making under pressure, with clear evidence of previous successful procurement negotiations Leadership experience, ideally having run several outstanding procurement teams MCIPS or equivalent Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification This is an excellent opportunity to make your mark within one of the most successful corporate services firms in the UK, shaping the direction of their strategic sourcing function.
