Engineering Part M & CFM Services - Local Contract H/F2017-10-17T18:57:19.633 Job description Following new type of service contract in the Services and Repairs Division, more specifically the implementation of this contract Part M / G Engineering (continuing airworthiness) for the company Norwegian, Looking for an engineer who will be the interface between the customer Norwegian (the NAS, NAI, NUK entities) on the LEAP 1B fleet, its Fleet Manager representative (Boeing), and the following Safran Aircraft Engines entities: + - Engineering PART M + - Customer Team CFM Services for service contracts (Fleet Management, ATPM (Airline Technical Program Manager), CSM (Customer Support Manager), CPM (Customer Program Manager)). Located at the Boeing Fleet Manager facilities, this close position with the fleet in service, will help to: + - Provide technical support services in coordination with Engineering PART M in order to facilitate the technical side of the contract. + - Provide technical support in coordination with the Fleet Manager and the CPM and ensure the profitability of CFM Services contracts. + - Provide technical support to ATPM and CSM related to OEM (Original Engine Manufacturer) objectives. You will be able, if necessary, to represent OEM technical support to the FSE of the airline. Job requirements The candidate will have:Good knowledge of the Engine turbomachinery and systemsGood knowledge of workscoping and workshop activities, you will help customers (Norwegian Entities and Boeing) to understand the engineering needs.Good knowledge in engine performance is a plus, you provide technical support to engineering to improve fleet understanding and monitoring.Ability to contact the customer, you will have to improve communication and technical support between PART M / CFM Services and customers (NAS and Boeing entities).Ability to work as a team. Complementary description Your main activities will be: + Monitor the evolution and events of the Norwegian LEAP 1B fleet, and their implications for engineering PART M and CFM Services. + Be responsive and proactive about the needs of the Norwegian and the Boeing Fleet Manager (Configuration Management in AMOS) for PART M and CFM Services + Ensure that Norwegian and its Boeing Fleet Manager consider the recommendations and actions needed for better management of the fleet. + Within this framework, you will participate in the elaboration or will develop technical tasks in coordination with the PART M engineering on the LEAP 1B of Norwegian. o You will track the health of the engine (Trend Monitoring)o You will ensure technical decision during on-call duty, as an Engineer on duty, the monitoring / feedback of flight events, FOD.
