PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST - IT - GLOBAL TECH FIRM - WEST LONDON - £40-45K PACKAGE Are you a junior procurement professional looking to step into a category specialist role? Maybe you've had some previous exposure to IT procurement and want the opportunity to work at the forefront of the most innovative spend area? My client is a global technology platform, looking to revolutionise how we use streaming services. Having recently gone through a period of unprecedented growth, they are now looking to take on an ambitious indirect procurement professional to work alongside the Head of Procurement to manage the IT category with a spend in the £hundreds of thousands. IT PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST ROLE PROFILE : Develop and input into category strategies which you will then manage with key business stakeholders Manage the full end to end procurement procurement across broadcasting, technology, IT, Establish strong relationships with key business stakeholders, developing an understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities Working with finance, legal and business teams to identify and drive savings, reduce and mitigate risk and focus on total cost of ownership Drive and deliver the fundamentals of sourcing and supplier engagement activities; including RFx, contracting, negotiations, supplier consolidation and spend analysis IT PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS: 2 years plus experience working in a Procurement Specialist or Category Specialist role A great track record in sourcing Broadcasting Technology or general IT Procurement categories.
