Overview
Travel Customer Operations Customer Operations Executive required to join the customer service operations team, which deals with all pre departure enquiries and administration. You will be dealing with all amendments, cancellations, special requests and requirements on existing bookings and will be liaising with various departments on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be confident, organised and very customer service focused with an excellent telephone manner and communication skills. Travel Customer Operations Executive Job Description • Dealing directly with clients and suppliers in the UK and overseas by telephone, and e-mail regarding: • Making amendments to bookings • Confirmation of online bookings • Client queries • Cancellations • Taking payments • Servicing Requests (e.g. meal requests, wheelchair access) • Dealing with emergency situations • Directing enquiries to relevant departments • Liaising with other departments •Dealing with fraud Travel Customer Operations Executive Skills All applicants must have a minimum of experience in the travel industry in a sales, customer service ticketing or administration role. Knowledge of tour operation, nett fares and ticketing would also be advantageous. Experience of using a GDS Knowledge of a tour operation Understanding of fare rules and ticketing
