Business Analyst - Newport - £40,000 - £50,000 Benefits An opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to join an organisation on a permanent basis as they start a brand new portfolio of work. The primary responsibility of the Business Analyst role is to support the improvement of business processes and systems to support the business strategy. As the Business Analyst you will be responsible for the requirements of multiple projects at any one time with varying levels of complexity, involvement and design. Typically, the scale of these projects would be small to medium. You would also be involved in large-scale projects that have high business impact. Particularly this would require sole focus and commitment to achieving the company goals managing multiple requirements, work packages and stakeholders at any one time. To be considered for this post it is essential that you have demonstrable experience in a similar role with particular focus around; Gathering requirements, with experience in working with senior stakeholders in developing strategy, gathering requirements and translating requirements to key stakeholders Working with waterfall and agile methodologies Supporting the delivery of project from inception to delivery including supporting the development of test strategies and defect resolution Developing requirements that span multi systems e.g. finance systems, manufacturing systems, debt recovery systems, telephony systems, web systems Experience of testing. Whether this be manual, automation or both. From creating test scripts to defining what testing looks like.
