HRC Recruitment is working with this large broking organisation to assist in their search for a commercial insurance broker. Due to continued success, this leading broker is recruiting a commercial insurance broker for their Newcastle city centre office. This company are an exciting time of growth and in need of another commercial broker to join their dynamic team. The role: Handle a portfolio of SME/mid-size commercial accounts Work closely with account executives to offer a professional service Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities Understand the client's business needs Deal with new business, renewals, MTA’s, policy issue, market presentations, etc. Offer advice on most classes of commercial insurance risks including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, etc. To ensure compliance within FCA guidelines The person A proven track record in managing and growing a commercial insurance book of business Possess a good knowledge of commercial combined, liabilities, contractors, motor fleet, commercial vehicle, commercial and residential property, etc. Strong network within local insurance marketplace Confident handling volume and/or complex risks Acturis experience preferred This position comes with a competitive salary and flexible benefits package Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm For more information or a confidential chat, please call Elaine McCrink
