Overview

Role Responsible for leading the application team technically, developing and managing the EMEA EDI system, ERP, CRM and RMA system related applications in order to meet company, user and HQ business and reporting requirements. Job Description Lead Application team technically. Have a good general understanding of IT systems and processes to assist users as and when required. In charge of Optoma B2B/EDI gate system development. Act as the primary owner of the end-to-end supplier integration process. Create test purchase orders, perform part number maintenance, etc. to ensure data quality and reliable test procedures to minimise issues after go-live date Ensure supplier conformance to established requirements including EDI specs. Monitor and ensure successful transactions during the testing phase Perform post-live monitoring, problem solving to stabilise the B2B link. Establish a reporting structure to provide visibility of progress to internal and external customers as well as Senior Leadership Continuously review new opportunities/suppliers to strengthen our project pipeline; prioritising projects as appropriate Develop a forward-looking plan with monthly/quarterly goals; meet and/or exceed established goals. In charge of reporting system through SSRS platform. Reporting to IT Department Head with autonomy to develop EDI / ERP systems Any other role deemed necessary by Department Head or CFO Key Result Areas and Specific Duties Day to day support of company IT application systems ensuring system stability, optimal business processes and accurate reporting. Support ERP system reports primarily using SQL/SSRS. Monitor EDI platform (through ERP workflow & middleware services). Assist with daily IT Support to all users both in UK and overseas EMEA offices Supporting remote user connection from home or regional offices. Support IT projects as directed by the Senior IT Manager Providing technical support to teams within the organization, and IT contacts of business partners Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions are kept up to date. Manage IT application development project and update project status Delivering user training to teams within the business as required Core Competencies Previous experience in EDI connection maintenance setup (FTP/SFTP/VAN/AS2) Previous experience of B2B integration tool configuration and setup (such as WebMethods/Jitterbit) File indexing tool setup experience for EDI monitoring tool development. Hands on Experience of EDI development / mapping knowledge of popular formats such as ANSIX12, EDIFACT, TRADACOM, EANCOM, XML, RNIF Good Understanding of EDI Middleware workflow and platforms (GXS, Tradeplace, Barclays Gateway and VirtualStock Edge) Familiar with Amazon vendor central setup and operations. Experience to develop and maintain EDI documents Order/Order Ack/ASN/Credit Note/Invoice/Debit Note documents 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 820, 832, 214, 830. Preferable to have 3PL EDI document development experience Picking Instruction/Ship Confirm/IOD/POD. Swift MT940, MT942 and MT950 banking EDI documents. Experience of EDI/B2B link monitoring / error handling. Supervise EDI procedures and daily functions to ensure optimum performance, completeness and stability. Programming experience in Java, PL/SQL, XML, Python & VB Preferable to have SQL Server Reporting tool experience and data warehousing knowledge of Oracle OTBI/ OBIA / BusinessObjects Knowledge of approval system by roles & process (BPM) Knowledge of different OS (Linux, Unix & Windows) High energy and drive for results Problem solver through IT development and project management Process improver Good communicator Team leading skills Must have flexible working attitude, willing to work additional hours as and when required Oracle ERP / Global customer service systems implementation experience would be a plus Essential: At least 1 years’ experience creating reports through SQL, ideally via SSRS platform Experience with Java or other web development technologies. Team leading experience Major software support experience (CRM/ERP/RMA systems) Desirable: OTBI/Crystal Reports/Power BI Daily EDI transaction monitoring Basic knowledge and understanding of Windows Servers Project Management experience Data Backups Helpdesk support experience Strong EDI Knowledge and experience, preferably experience of Oracle ERP, Microsoft SQL and Reporting Services as well as crystal report writer / Business Object / OTBI Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
