Overview
Java Developer based in Newport, confirmed for 3 months. Paying £350 - £450 OUTSIDE IR35 Hays are currently recruiting for a Java Developer to provide support and further enhancement and development of our client's in-house applications, utilising the Java and Oracle technical stack. We are looking for an individual with the following experience; - Extensive knowledge and demonstrable experience of the Java technology stack - Extensive knowledge of object-orientated design patterns and Java industry standard approaches - Application support and development utilising relational databases, ideally Oracle RDBMS - Implementation of Kafka and other messaging systems - Development best practise in relation to code quality analysis, unit and automated testing and continuous integration - Knowledge and demonstrable experience of software development and support utilising python or R - Eclipse IDE, Oracle SQL Developer, Toad, Ant, Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Spring, Struts, WebLogic, Git, Jira, Confluence What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
