Real Estate Underwriter - London £45,000 Barker Munro Recruitment, a leading Insurance recruitment agency, is working with a fantastic insurance organisation who are currently looking to add to their commercial underwriting team with the appointment of a Real Estate Underwriter. As the Real Estate Underwriter you will deliver on trading team targets through profitable underwriting of commercial risks. Responsibilities of the Real Estate Underwriter: Underwrite products for SME customers profitably, accurately, consistently and in line with established underwriting practices Identify the right risks for the company, deciding the terms using all information available Develop credibility with brokers and customers, to help win and retain business Put sustained effort into building influential relationships internally and externally Demonstrate contribution to loss ratio control by effectively implementing branch underwriting controls Contribute to the development of peers by coaching and acting as a reference point to assist in decision making Requirements: Technical Real Estate knowledge Sound understanding of the insurance market and processes across commercial lines insurance operations Pragmatic decision making with good analytical and numerical reasoning skills Experience of working within teams and a successful track record of delivering results Package: Salary to £45,000 Annual Bonus scheme 23 days holiday 8 Bank Holidays Joint contribution pension scheme Flexible benefits package Discount on AXA products
