Overview

Dispensing Technician Manager, Leicester LE4, Independent Pharmacy, £30,000-35,000 dependant on experience Our client is an independent community pharmacy group, with a number of pharmacies throughout the East Midlands. This particular pharmacy is located in the heart of a vibrant local community, on the north-side of the city. A sustained period of growth has created the need for someone with a pharmacy dispensing background to come in and take over the day-to-day operational management of the pharmacy. This is a role that carries exceptional prospects, as well as a highly competitive salary. THE OPPORTUNITY We're looking for someone to come in and manage the dispensing and counter team, thereby freeing up the pharmacist to focus on the clinical side of the business. This is a newly-created role that will require the successful candidate to take a high level of responsibility for staff supervision and training, as well as operational organisation and compliance. Day-to-day, the job involves overseeing the dispensing process, directing workflow, ensuring total compliance with processes and procedures and maintaining a safe and clean working environment. There is a fully-funded business plan in place that will ensure the business grows quite substantially over the next few years, which means the role also carries fantastic career development potential. REQUIRED SKILLS You should be a strong people manager, with excellent organisational, IT and general business skills. A meticulous and methodical approach to work is essential, as are good communication skills and a professional and confident manner.
