MPI are assisting our client seeking a Survival Equipment Technician to be based at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. LN4 4SY Rate of Pay: PAYE: £18.00 per hour, all hours worked (days) Role: MOD - Fitter - National - Skill Zone 3 Contracting Authority: MOD Contract Length: until December 2021 with possible extension Minimum Requirement: SURVIVAL EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN Manpower substitution will be required to work as part of a team or individually to carry out the following: Technician for the Maintenance, Rectification and Modification of Survival Equipment (SE) and Aircrew Equipment Assemblies (AEA) in support of Typhoon and BBMF. Fitting of AEA and Helmets when required. SE and AEA will encompass the following equipment: • Helmets (Mk 10 & 4A/4 variants) • O2 Masks • Full coverage Anti-G Assemblies • Immersion Protection Garments • Life Saving appliances • Parachute assemblies • Life Rafts and Personal Survival Packs This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89311915
