Overview
A Personal Lines Handler is required to work for this long established national independent broker in West Yorkshire. The role will involve providing a full broking and re-broking service to existing and potential clients in respect of their personal insurance needs. You will have involvement in new business quotations, mid-term adjustments and renewals. You will have regular contact with insurers and customers, as well as the maintenance of computerised and manual files and the handling of queries including claims. Business handled will encompass private motor and household buildings and contents, together with travel insurance, caravan, motorcycle, personal accident, commercial vehicle and legal expenses policies. It will be essential to have experience of broking motor and household insurance risks. The successful applicant must be a forward thinking team player with good time management, communication and IT skills. Must have Acturis experience.
