Microsoft Infrastructure Architect / Microsoft Identity Consultant London, with 30% Travel £60,000 Base Package Are you a Microsoft Infrastructure Architect / Microsoft Identity Consultant that is looking to work for one of Microsoft leading partners? Currently working in a Cloud consulting team with a focus on AD and Azure/O365 Identity Management? What my client is looking for…… You will be responsible for greenfield Windows Server 2016 AD and hybrid Azure AD designs and implementation. You will be an expert in all Microsoft on-prem technologies - Active Directory, Certificate Services, DNS, Windows Server, Hyper-V, Exchange, ADFS with knowledge of SharePoint is highly desirable. You must also be able to script using PowerShell. You will work in the Identity Management stream, so you should have solid experience with Microsoft Identity Manager and EMS features such as PIM. Experience with Quest tools such as OneIdentity, ActiveRoles, Server / Quick Connect or OneIdentity Manager is highly desirable. This role will be customer facing so you must be able to communicate via phone, during workshops to a technical and non-technical audience. You will work with the managed service team and act as an escalation point for complex customer support and change management activities, as well as support during presales and project lifecycles. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for greenfield Windows Server 2016 AD and Azure AD hybrid designs and implementation. Act as the escalation point for AD, Azure and identity related queries, and to support change management. Identify customer service improvement opportunities. PowerShell scripting in complex environments Manage 1-2 staff on project delivery/deployments To participate in pre-sales activities, workshops and tender responses as and when required. Customer requirements capture and analysis Presenting designs to clients Maintain relevant Microsoft certifications Keep up to date with technology trends. Skills and Experience Essential Skills Expert understanding of AD DS with knowledge in all versions of Microsoft AD Demonstratable AD design experience preferably in multi-national environments. 1000 user is essential. Demonstratable experience in designing and implementing an Identity Management platform. FIM 2010 or Quest Software. Excellent understanding of AD services, especially the dependencies and interactions of AD with Exchange. Proven Azure IaaS and AzureAD Design experience Excellent PowerShell scripting skills. Experience in AD migrations with Microsoft, Quest or NetIQ toolsets. Strong knowledge of Windows server operating systems and their standard management features. Broad knowledge of all infrastructure services closely linked to AD e.g. DNS, Domain Trusts etc You will be expected to complete an appropriate Microsoft Certification as part of the role.
