Overview
Various Manufacturing Opportunities (basic rates from £8.21 to £11.70 per hour shift allowance) The Wicked Cake Company are looking for suitable candidates to join our Bakery in a variety of different roles. The successful candidates will be trained and developed to fulfil key roles within our processing and packing teams, and in a few cases developed for running one of our shift teams as a team leader. Working for our Production Manager and with our existing shift team leaders the successful candidates will spend time within each area of our bakery teams from product batching where all of our products begin their life, through to flow wrapping and packing our products ready for our customers. The successful candidates will ideally have the following characteristics and experience. Bakery or food manufacturing experience would be beneficial, but not a requirement as training will be given. Although previous training would accelerate the training programme. You will be willing to learn with a ‘can do’ attitude at all times. You will be confident in filling in documents and have a strong attention to detail, as we have several systems for H&S and Food Safety which must be adhered to. You will be ambitious with a drive to want to succeed in a production environment. You must have the ability to work on your own initiative and build strong relationships with colleagues. You have experience of working in a team or with customers. Candidates must be able to work within one of our shift patterns of either 6am – 2pm or 2pm – 10pm.
