Overview

Financial Planning Administrator Our client is a Financial Planning company who are looking for a Financial Planning Administrator to work with the Team to ensure the smooth running of the office, and efficient processing of business. You will be working as part of a small team to provide a high level of support to clients in an efficient, compliant and professional manner while providing excellent customer service and supporting the Financial Advisers. Our client offers the following benefits: Pension Healthcare Company Bonus 20 days holiday plus Christmas shutdown Your key role will be to: Assisting in inputting and updating client data, preparing financial plans, chasing up paperwork and managing client relationships. Basic office duties such as answering the phone, greeting guests and setting up meeting rooms, posting mail and maintaining office supply levels. Regular communication with clients to: - Arrange meetings - Request information, answer queries and keep them updated as to the progress of their cases - by email and telephone. Liaising with various providers to obtain quotations/valuations, request information and follow up client applications as quickly and efficiently as possible. Includes sending client information in response to requests. Checking clients’ documentation to ensure that they meet compliance regulations and clients’ needs. Keeping client files up to date, saving all documents and copies of correspondence. Low level paraplanning to produce basic suitability reports ie annual review letters, top ups or withdrawals. Assisting Financial Adviser/Director: - Manage the diary (booking all meetings, training courses, lunches, events etc). - Get documents ready and organised before meetings with clients. - Preparing monthly income reports. Manage ongoing service schedule to ensure we meet compliance regulations. We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience working in financial services, who is looking to grow within a small, friendly but professional business who will support you in continuing with your professional development. Key Requirements: Being able to work well within a small team. Excellent communication skills. Confident and personable approach. Attention to detail. Good understanding of compliance issues, and the importance of this. Good working knowledge of financial planning products and services, and software. Competent using Office 365 programs ie Word, Outlook, Excel etc. Our client is currently based in London (near Liverpool Street) but will be moving to the Woking / Weybridge area in May therefore the successful candidate will need to be prepared to travel to London until the move.
