Overview
Device Development Engineer – £35k-£40k – Cambridge - Medical Devices This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing company that design and manufacture medical devices. You will have the chance to directly influence product design and ultimately company success. The company also offer a clear progression route and are looking for candidates who want to drive their careers forward. Duties: Design & develop new product ranges Concept generation 3D CAD design Conduct risk/tolerance analysis Prototype and test designs Design test plans – design jigs and fixtures Ideal candidate will have some industry experience in the following: Degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent Prototyping methods FEA analysis Component & mechanism design 3D CAD design - Ideally Solidworks Different manufacturing processes – Injection moulding Brainstorming and blue sky thinking Medical devices would be beneficial but not necessary The salary will be between £35,000 -£40,000 depending on experience.
