VB.net Software Engineer, Slough, Berkshire, c £ 35000 - 55000 benefits. Market leading technology company based in Slough, Berkshire is looking for two VB.net Software Engineers to join their team. Working on a combination of internal and client based systems you will be a strong software engineer with good knowledge of VB.net. In this challenging and interesting role you will primarily focused on back-end development and writing interfaces. Purpose of Role Root cause analysis of field issues and internally generated bug reports. Work closely with internal teams to deliver technical solutions according to development plans and quality standards. Inhouse applications development Duties & Responsibilities Work with internal and sub-contractor teams to ensure clear communication of technical issues. Investigate and manage technical issues accurately. Participate in software development lifecycle activities to deliver and validate new features and fixes according to required timescales and risks. Proactively manage development risks and issues in cooperation with management team. Proactively investigate and implement bug fixes in cooperation with development management and other internal teams. Skills Required - Good commercial experience working as a software engineer. Ability to work well under pressure and autonomously. Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills. High standard of programming in .net development technologies, using vb.net. Understanding of browser capabilities Full appreciation of configuration management & issue tracking management issues and systems Excellent interpersonal and team working skills. Determination to find and deliver the right solution and deliver. Demonstrably strong verbal and written communications skills.
