Overview
Finance Billing Analyst Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire Salary: £39K per annum Contract: Full time, Permanent Gov Facility Services Ltd (GFSL) are seeking a Finance Billing Analyst who will take full responsibility for the GFSL billing function which is in place to ensure that GFSL can prepare backup information to our customers in support of billed work above the core service. You will represent GFSL with the client and communicate with various sites to manage and reconcile billed labour and products. You will be working with large amounts of data and complex financial reconciliations in support of customer billing whilst also liaising with a variety of stakeholders. You will be presenting important information to ‘non-finance' people so will work on translating this in the most articulate and consistent way possible. Areas of responsibility will include: Raising the monthly payment application on CEMAR including logged rejections Resolving billing issues with site Reconciling the monthly bills to the GFSL Financial Statements Preparing and reconciling the monthly vandalism bill for HMPPS and resolving any queries Preparing bills for any other organisations that GFSL provides services for including the MOJ and other Govt organisations. Working with HMPPS Finance colleagues to agree any intercompany balances in respect of variable works and vandalism. Working to support the wider finance function as and when required. The successful candidate will have a proven track-record of financial and analytical reconciliation and also a strong history of working collaboratively across various departments within an organisation. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously with a ‘can do' approach.
