Data Engineer London based Tech Company that creates web and mobile-based ecommerce platforms is looking to recruit a number of Data Engineers. As a Data Engineer within this team you will follow a highly collaborative process and provide support to the feature, product, business, design and financial teams, making sure they have all the relevant information and risk analysis available to perform their daily tasks. Tech-wise, this well known Tech Company runs primarily on Java based technology and they have a focus on following best engineering practices / methods such as Agile, SOLID, TDD and Unit Testing. The Company is seeking Data Engineers with proven knowledge of working with large sets of data, those that have strong SQL knowledge, can manage data pipelines and ETL processes and have experience pulling data from different APIs and integrating it into a Data Warehouse framework. Key skills required include; Strong SQL/Procedural SQL/Data Warehousing experience Strong experience in creating efficient dashboards using Cognos or Tableau Demonstrable experience of data processing Java or Python Good understanding of RESTful APIs and or streaming Unix shell scripting (or alternative) experience Worked in a team that adhere to Agile principles This brilliant tech driven business offers Data Engineers a fun and rewarding place to work.
