Overview
Principal Engineer - Technical Publications/Documentation Based in Barrow a Principal Engineer with Technical Publications/Documentation experience is required on a 12 month contract basis to work for a major defence client. This is an great opportunity to join a leading edge and exciting programme of work which does offer an excellent working environment. Overview of the role The successful candidate will undertake authoring tasks in the support of the delivery of Technical Publications deliverables. Activities may be undertaken alone or as the lead of a Technical Publications Team producing technical documentation with the support of a Consultant Engineer (Technical Documentation). The duties of the role are to utilise best practice, professional engineering judgement, initiative and skill in discharging allocated Technical Publications tasks in a positive manner within required constraints to produce consistent and coherent outputs. You'll be responsible for: Support Documentation - General Understanding Structure a DMRL Understand and implement Tech Pubs standards and business rules Generate Data Modules Generate hard copy Technical Documentation (BRs etc.) Generate Training Aid Book (TAB) & Composite Diagram (CD) Generate Damage Control Headquarters Documentation Illustrations Create Illustrated Parts Documentation Validation of Technical Publications Collate deliveries of data to the IETP production team Timescales and deliverables are achieved within the available budget If you would like to be considered for this role please don't hesitate to click apply or call Daniel McShane for more information.
