Top 5 Global Insurer looking for Data Science Manager Your new company You will be working for one of the world's leading international insurers, looking to join their advanced analytics and data science department. You will be joining your team in their luxurious offices in the heart of London's financial district. Your new role You will be joining a fast-growing team of Data Scientists, Engineers, and other analytics professionals. You will be an experienced analytics professional looking to lead, develop and mentor your team and look to implement cutting edge solutions and technologies to combat real business problems. What you'll need to succeed You will need experience in a range of these areas: Proven track record of embedding data science solutions in a commercial context. Ability to explain and articulate technical concepts to specialist and non-specialist audiences. Proficiency in using Python, R and other relevant programming languages Experience of working with GLMs, decision trees, GBMs, Bayesian statistics, SVMs, clustering, NLP/NLG, time-series modelling and other relevant techniques Experience of working with cloud infrastructure preferred Significant hands-on experience of working on long term modelling projects involving multiple programming languages, complex datasets & multiple systems. Strong team player who is able to work with people and deliver on projects by taking ownership Understanding of statistical and machines learning applications for general insurance.
