Overview
Professional Staffing Services are recruiting a Design Engineer for a well-established manufacturing company. Based in Loughborough, this is a permanent position offering a salary up to £55’000 per annum depending on experience. The role will include both software and hardware elements, and engineers will need to have knowledge of Embedded C, PIC Microcontrollers, Analogue and Digital design. Duties of the Design Engineer: - Involvement in the Electronic Design and development of both existing and new products. - Firmware programming in Embedded C. - Design of both digital and analogue circuits. - Testing and verifying new products. - Liaise with customers and suppliers. The Ideal Design Engineer: - Will have an HND or degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline. - Electronic Software/Hardware knowledge. - Experience with Embedded C. - A team player who can also work on their own initiative. - Knowledge of PIC Microcontrollers.
