Job Description
Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer Hours: Full time Days Pay: 34,000 - 40,000 Location: Loughborough Benefits: Free Onsite Parking, Pension, 20 days holiday + 8 public holidays increasing 1 day per year. Our Client, a market leader, manufactures technically advanced laser, inkjet and automation systems, operating in high tech, blue chip environments. They are now looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team on a permanent basis. Electrical Design Engineer Graduate or time served engineer with previous experience of similar work including: * Knowledge and understanding of bespoke/special purpose automation. * Knowledge of motion control, fieldbus, safety systems, PLC's, HMI's etc. * The use of CAD (Ideally AutoCAD Electrical). Objectives : * Produce electrical designs and schematics for special purpose machines and equipment using AutoCAD Electrical. * Preparation of BOMS. * Technical coordination with colleagues, customers and suppliers. * Technical support for workshop engineers during system building phase. * Constructive input to project meetings to ensure Customer satisfaction, machine specification, delivery dates and costings are all met efficiently and on time. * Respond to the direction of the operations manager, health & safety committee & other management and contribute to ensuring business effectiveness.
