Overview

Our client are a newly formed midlands region coming from a well-established developer based in the North West and South West of England and they are currently in the market for an experienced Technical Coordinator The ideal candidate will have a technical or architectural background preferably with a degree or HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant building related subject, with sound knowledge of building regulation and drawing package etc. for residential developments. You will have 2-3 years residential development experience with an Architectural Practice, Housebuilder or Contractor. This opportunity would suit a highly organised professional with strong attention to detail to ensure all details are gathered, co-ordinated, distributed and delivered by the project deadlines with a high level of accuracy. As Technical Co-Ordinator, you will be expected to manage 3-4 sites from inception through to completion whilst managing and monitoring site progress. You will be liaising with in-house architects, engineering consultants and sub-contractors to coordinate technical information throughout the project team. The role will also involve liaising with utility providers to procure utility package, overseeing the NHBC / Building Regulations applications to approval and providing information for discharge of conditions. You will work closely and report directly to the Technical Manager and will provide good support to the Technical Department. Flexibility is required as this role will require the post holder to travel to sites within the Region and a clean driving licence is preferred.
