12 month FTC - Public Sector Opportunity - Central Birmingham Your new company An extremely respectable, large and highly reputable not-for-profit organisation based in Central Birmingham are looking for support in their Finance team. They are known to be one of the best employers in Birmingham and have a real large focus on employee satisfaction in the workplace. Your new role You will be joining a busy Finance team that is looking for fast paced and efficient support within their Accounts Payable department. You will be: Working within a small but fully functional team liaising with internal /external stakeholders and will take ownership of your allocated tasks. Your responsibilities will include tasks such as: Processing transactions Processing payments relating to grants, suppliers, employee expenses, procurement cards Reconciliation of accounts including the investigation of any differences. What you'll need to succeed Good communication skills to deal with internal /external contacts. Proven knowledge and understanding of Accounting processes. Excellent accuracy and ability to meet deadlines. Able to work effectively and contribute to the team. Experience of working in Finance Transactional processing role.
