Overview
Role: Team Leader Pay: £12.44 per hour Hours: Monday - Thursday, 06:30am - 16:30pm (up to 5 hours overtime available on Friday) Location: Coventry Permanent The Role: Support the Production Supervisor to improve production operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures Promote waste reduction, ensuring Health and Safety and housekeeping standards are maintained and building capabilities within the team. Ensure zero defects leave the area. Leads and support Kaizen improvements. Recognise and utilise the individual strengths from team members, ensuring that all members are trained and communicated to effectively. Operate and work within business problem solving processes and actively look to resolve QS related quality issues within your area. The Person: Experience within the manufacturing industry - desirable Good numeracy and literacy skills Basic understanding of Microsoft packages Proven experience of continuous improvement and adherence to systems Good analytical skills and have the ability to think creatively. Great communication skills Good interpersonal skills to be a positive team player. The ability to work under pressure and to time constraints and use own initiative to solve problems. The ability to be self-motivated and results oriented. The initiative to take responsibility for resolution of issues.
