ICT Infrastructure Analyst - Our Client Operates a global logistics services business Invested over £30 million in new equipment and systems Enviable reputation for safety, integrity and technical excellence List of blue-chip clients who entrust us with supporting their business A leading global provider of bulk liquid, powder and gas logistics solutions Priority and passion is to ensure that the business has the best people to take this business forward Have a global team, based in offices and operating centres in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia ICT Infrastructure Analyst - The Candidate Required: 5 years' experience in a similar role Able to work to deadlines involving frequently changing circumstances and conflicting priorities Extensive technical knowledge System monitoring, management, backup and recovery Microsoft client and server operating systems Microsoft application server technologies LAN and WAN network topologies Cisco network hardware VMware vSphere and Citrix XenServer Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Desirable: A level or equivalent education Vendor accreditation ITIL qualification Experience working in a multi-national organisation Experience of a transport or logistics organisation Behavioural Competencies: Highly motivated individual Excellent communication, documentation and report writing skills Team player Strong customer focus ICT Infrastructure Analyst - The Role: Job Purpose You will ensure that the company's ICT infrastructure and associated systems run smoothly, perform within agreed targets, and provide a secure platform for the company's business operations. Key Accountabilities Administer, monitor, and maintain the corporate ICT infrastructure including Active Directory, network, storage, firewalls, telephony, and messaging systems Administer and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems and processes Planning and recommending enhancements to ensure that IT capacity meets current and future business requirements in a cost-effective manner Investigate complex service problems, recommend solutions and follow formal procedures to plan, test and implement proposed solutions Liaise with external support providers through to resolution Create and maintain operational documentation Mentor & provide support to junior team members Provide out of hours support on a rota basis
