Overview
I am delighted to again be working with a very modern practice in Oxford that are looking to recruit a part qualified accountant into their outsourcing team. They are offering a competitive salary of up to £24K STUDY SUPPORT ENVIABLE BENEFITS with great career progression prospects on offer. This position has come about due to recent expansion of a division within their organisation. Our valued client requires an part qualified accountant to join an ever growing team, the successful candidate could well be part AAT qualified or fully AAT qualified and progressing onto their ACCA and their level would be reflective in their remuneration Duties ·Building productive working relationships internally and with clients as required. ·Developing and applying your technical knowledge through on the job training and formal qualifications. ·Assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships. ·Preparing opening balance journals. ·Preparing basic tax computations and returns e.g. corporation tax, VAT ·Completing working papers including preparing bank reconciliations, other reconciliations and manual control accounts. ·Processing sales and purchase invoices and reconciling bank accounts. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: ·Be Part AAT, Fully AAT Qualified. The candidates salary with fall in line with their experience level. ·Ideally educated to A Level or higher although not essential. ·Minimum 2 years UK based Practice experience. ·Exceptional attention to detail. ·Good interpersonal skills and ability to create a positive impression with clients. ·Be able, knowledgeable and competent on Microsoft Word, Excel and be able to learn new accounting programs within short time-scales. ·Quickbooks, Xero, Sage or CCH experience would be an advantage For more information on this Senior Accountant role, please either apply directly or contact Charlie Hill at AJ Chambers.
