Overview
Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant based in the Birmingham. This will be intially on a temporary basis for 6 months however has potential to be extended further. Duties: Running the month-end close process, including the posting of specific manual journals Ensuring robust financial controls are established, well understood and being followed across the finance team Liaising with external auditors Preparation / review of key monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with the preparation of financial reporting Person Public sector experience in similar finance role essential Ability to work independently as well as in a team
