Infrastructure Support Engineer - Wickford Posted - 24.03.20 - My client are actively recruiting this role. If you are a hands-on, technically experienced candidate and have proven experience within IT Support and Infrastructure then I have a great new opportunity that has just become available with a growing, local company. This position will see your time being split roughly into user support/training and infrastructure support, keeping each week varied and interesting. System knowledge required: Microsoft Azure Cloud management experience Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows 10 IT and Telecommunications (LAN/WAN, Routers, VPN's, VLAN, Firewalls, Switches, PBX deployment, TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP, DNS, Nagios or similar, Office 365, ITIL, VM servers and Thin client terminal servers VoIP telephony and voice recording systems Key responsibilities for this role: User workstation setup experience Mobile phone devices setup and management for users Providing printers and print servers support Support Apple and Windows devices, branch location security camera systems integration's and end point security set up Monitor, diagnose, detect and resolve infrastructure, networking and performance issues Experience of administering policies for security and company hardware usage Providing empathy based collaborative relationship with internal users and able to maintain collaborative partnerships with 3rd parties Playing a key role in managing disaster recovery business continuity planning, governance policies and drills Ability to train users in how to use IT hardware and office software This position will see you travelling to sites and potential over-night stays required - All UK based and on occasion as opposed to regular travel each week.
