Fire & Security Systems Engineer Permanent Position Excellent salary on offer overtime, top of the range company vehicle, credit/fuel card, tablet etc 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday Our client is a growing and leading provider of Fire, Security and BEMS (Building Energy Management) Systems. They are looking to recruit a motivated and knowledgeable Fire & Security Systems Engineer who is experienced commissioning and modifying new/existing integrated PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) systems. Fire & Security Systems Engineer Job Description · Commissioning and modifying new/existing integrated PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) systems · Supporting site engineer with high level maintenance tasks such health checks on servers and other I.T infrastructure or upgrading software/firmware · Supporting/training engineers with I.T related matters or assisting with fault diagnosis. · Completing technical surveys for potential new customers and providing technical pre-sales support · Completing technical assessments of new customers and documenting systems/processes. · Work on and build private LANs for various security systems · Installing, patching and upgrading an OS, re-populating hard drives within a raid array and installing software programs onto window servers and clients Fire & Security Systems Engineer Essential Skills/Experience/Qualification Required · Experienced commissioning and modifying new/existing integrated PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) systems · Comfortable with installing, patching and upgrading an OS, re-populating hard drives within a raid array and installing software programs onto window servers and clients · Ability to integrate fire and security systems either physically via I/O or at application level and work on graphical control packages and PSIM systems · Knowledge on PSIM systems (Cortech or Genetec preferred) Fire & Security Systems Engineer Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualification Required · Strong I.P/networking knowledge This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89077062
